The department prides itself on the wide range of clubs and teams that represent the school in a wide variety of sports at both district and county level. Clubs target those pupils who strive for excellence and teams regularly see success at county level. The department also ensures an inclusive program that allows pupils to compete against other schools in a less competitive environment. Some of the sports the department competes in are: Football, Rugby, Netball, Rounders, Athletics, Handball, Badminton, Cross country.
